
Cork PAL Officially Launched
Cork PAL was officially launched on March 8th, 2010, by Mr. Batt O’Keeffe T.D., Minister for Education and Science.
The launch took place in the Boole Library, U.C.C.
Cork PAL
Cork PAL is a cooperative agreement between all the main libraries in Cork city and county, with a view to ensuring wider access to learning materials for all the people of Cork and beyond. Cork PAL ensures increased access to libraries and the valuable resources they hold and maintain. It ensures greater cooperation between libraries and a more beneficial use of public resources. It facilitates the people of Cork to get the learning resources that they need, whenever they need them.

The Cork PAL Training Workshop, 2012 was held at CIT’s NMCI (National Maritime College of Ireland) in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork

CorkPAL Training Day 2011
The CorkPAL Training Workshop for 2011 was held at the brand new and very impressive County Library Headquarters, on the Carrigrohane Rd. on Monday 28th February. The Workshop was entitled Collections and Collaboration and featured several speakers on the collection strength of their libraries.
